White Lung dropped their latest LP Paradise earlier this year, even garnering a spot on the Polaris Music Prize short list for it. Before the grand prize gets handed out this evening (September 19), though, the band are revisiting said record with a video for "Sister."
The new clip follows visuals for "Below" and "Dead Weight," and finds the band once again teaming up with director Justin Gradin, who also helmed the band's "Hungry" piece.
"In a lonely world a man seeks to find love through his telephone," Gradin explained in a statement. "He discovers two women with whom he becomes obsessed with from their captivating and elegant conversations. In the end, these two women's thrilling lives and escalating partying leave the man feeling isolated and rejected again. It's basically a 90s chat line commercial on PCP."
Watch the concept come to life in the video for "Sister" below, before tuning in to watch White Lung duke it out for top Canadian album honours on the Polaris Music Prize livestream tonight.
