Tiggs Da Author - 'Swear Down'

Tiggs Da Author makes it all seem so simple, yet - at one point - his life was very complicated.

Growing up in London presented the newcomer with numerous paths, only one of which was music.

Thankfully, he chose the right one. New cut 'Swear Down' looks back on these life decisions, with Yungen lending some guest vocals.

The video is online now, and it's a pleasingly autobiographical take on Tiggs' youth. He explains: "The track is about my life as a teenager, growing up in London, trying to work out which paths to take in life. It can be hard to stay true to who you are and not give in to peer pressure. Its about trying to find love but looking in the wrong places and its about making mistakes but learning from them. It has a real Summer vibe and I love that the video captures that element of the song."

"It was really hot, sunny day and when London is like that there is just such a powerful energy and I feel we managed to show that in the video. I just wanted everyone to vibe out and have fun and thats what we did. We had a big party in Portobello road in a friends apartment and I invited lots of people down. Was a wicked atmosphere."
