A small group of radical pro-abortion feminists attempted to disrupt the Walk for Life on Saturday in San Francisco by screaming and taking off their shirts, revealing obscenities painted on their bare chests.
The pro-life walk drew tens of thousands of people to San Francisco to call for an end to abortion and to mourn the 58 million babies who have been aborted since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Roe v. Wade in 1973.
One of the featured speakers at the event was David Daleiden, the man behind the videos exposing Planned Parenthood selling aborted babies’ body parts. On Monday, a Texas grand jury ignored the evidence about the abortion business and indicted Daleiden instead.
On Saturday, topless protesters with the pro-abortion group Femin specifically targeted Daleiden’s talk at the Walk for Life, according to the website SFist.
“Seconds after Daleiden took the stage, FEMEN activist Anni Ma set off a personal security alarm from within the crowd, and took her shirt off to reveal ‘FREEDOM MEANS CHOICE’ painted on her chest. Activist Carly Mitchell joined Ma in chanting ‘Fraud! Hypocrite! Liar!’ at Daleiden,” according to a press release from the pro-abortion group.
Two other pro-abortion protesters “climbed up the wheelchair lift and tossed 200 fake subpoenas at Daleiden, featuring his face stamped with ‘Fraud,’ ‘Fake,’ and ‘Liar,” the release states.
Police arrested the pro-abortion protesters after they removed their shirts and bared their breasts in front of the pro-life crowd, which included children. A video shows some of the protesters had obscenities painted on their chests.
Pro-abortion protesters also disrupted the March for Life on Friday in Washington, D.C. Katie Yoder wrote at LifeNews that a few dozen pro-abortion activists staged a “die-in” by lying down outside the U.S. Supreme Court to represent women dying from back-alley abortions. It was the second year straight where radical protesters tried to halt the thousands who came to D.C. to speak for the voiceless. Last year, the group’s behaviorcaused arrests at the march.
