Brett Is Back!

Porn star Brett Rossi is back from a several-year porn break following some high-profile tabloid unpleasantness with Charlie Sheen. I am always happy for a woman when she gets out of what looks like a hellacious coupling. Maybe Rossi is no saint, but there is no way on Earth she could have deserved to have been paired with him. Rossi is back from that break, and has an exclusive boy/girl performing contract with Stoya and Kayden Kross' website, TrenchcoatX.com. Her second scene with the site went live today, and she is going to be feature dancing all over the U.S. this year.
How was your break from performing?
"I had a great time really rediscovering myself and trying different things. I studied in nursing school for a while and I always went back to runway modeling which is originally where my career started when I was 14."
What made you decide to come back?
"I felt I really missed expressing my sexual side and I personally enjoy shock value. So I figured coming back would create a stir and also give me a great excuse to come back and do what I love doing: exploring my sexual side."
What made you decide to be a contract performer for Trenchcoatx?
"I have been friends with Kayden Kross for a very long time, and we continued being friends once I had retired and gone back to the mainstream world. She's an excellent business woman and I really loved the idea of her new company, TrenchcoatX. I was debating coming back to the business for at least 6 months before making the decision to actually come back, but before I had retired, I was a contract girl, which I enjoyed very much due to the comfort and security it provided for me not only financially but for my health and safety as well, due to the fact that I wasn't shooting every day like most girls who are not contracted in the industry. So, I really was only comfortable coming back to the business under a contract."

What did you enjoy most about being a porn star?
"Naturally, I enjoy expressing my sexual side as I am a very sexually driven person, however I personally enjoy the glitz and glam as well as the taboo factor of it all. I've always been a very unconventional person, and porn is very a very unconventional job."
How was working with Kayden Kross and Stoya?
"Having two great performers direct me for Delicious, my first movie back, was a dream. I love learning and they definitely taught me some new things. It's also nice being directed by two FEMALE performers, because they are very patient and really understanding while filming because they understand how hard it can be on your body."
What kind of advice do you like to give most in your new Thrillist column?
"I'm writing for their Sex & Dating column . . . my first article was a smash hit where I discussed the difference between civilian sex and porn sex. I plan on continuing to give a refreshing spin on everyday things we experience in the dating and relationship world."
You seem to really love your fans and respond to them a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about being able to reach them so easily on social media?
"I think social media is a great platform for those in the public eye because it gives you the ability to speak to your fans directly, especially in times where tabloids, blogs, and other situations may be misconstrued, and it's important to get your message across."

What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?
"I'm old fashioned. I like missionary."
What do you have in mind for your upcoming feature dancing appearances?
"I have a few special things up my sleeve for my performances, but most importantly, I am really excited to meet new and old fans."
What has changed the most in the industry during your hiatus?
"A few things, but the biggest being the quality of performers in the industry. I think cam girls really killed the industry because now everyone can be a "porn star," and it has really diminished the quality of work out on the market which in turn has butchered the value of porn because it is so easily accessible. I really miss the days where porn stars were glamorous and you had to really shine bright to be a star—the money was insane. Now, contract girls are typically the only glamour girls left in the industry."
What do you feel that people misunderstood most about you in that tabloid mess that happened?
"Most importantly, my decisions and my situation that happened between my ex and I was not something I wanted aired out. It was something I had hidden for a very long time from friends and family during my engagement, so I was ashamed my friends and family had discovered that my fairytale was really a secret dark tale. I felt it was important to have a voice because I was in such a deep, dark place for so long and wasn't allowed to have a voice during my relationship that eventually I just needed a form of release to just say, "Hey! This is MY side of the story." The biggest misconception was the majority of the public viewed me like they viewed all the other women who were not truthful, but the reality was that I was just a girl who fell in love with a bad boy and got my heart broken in the end. I know it's hard to believe, but it was just that."

Is there anything/anyone that you want to do this time around?
"I'm picky when it comes to who I work with because when I come to set, I'm really ready to explore my sexual side and there are many that aren't. So the screening process of who I choose to work with is lengthy because I want to work with someone who wants to be present, who wants to have fun, and really enjoy their scene with me. I'm in it for real, I have no room for fakers."
What are your “must-own” DVDs that you think your fans should see?
"Surprisingly, I don't watch much TV. However, a great show to have a Netflix marathon is Criminal Minds."
Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?
"I really admire Kayden Kross and Manuel Ferrara because they are "lifers." They didn't just come into the business looking to make a quick buck—they have really managed to extend their time in the business and build a brand."
What do you most want to achieve in the porn industry this time?
"'I'm not necessarily trying to achieve any specific goal, but winning an award or two this time around would be nice!"
null
What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?
"I can't even remember the last actual movie I have seen..."
How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?
"Surprisingly, when I am not filming in the adult business I am working on many other projects so I don't have much time to watch any movie, porn or mainstream. Ha!"
Do you like toys or do you like to use your hands more?
"I still love the good ol' Hitachi!"
If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be? Give us your male and female choices.
"I think I'm burnt out on celebs at the moment ..."
What is coming up for you?
"I have a lot of fun and exciting things with the release of my new movie, Delicious. There is also something major and shocking that I will be shooting next month as well. I have my column for Thrillist that just went live and I'll be focusing on my lingerie line I have been working on."
Is there anything you want to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
"I just want to thank you all for your continued support and I hope you enjoy watching this new adventure!"
